Perfect Match from The Coffee Connoisseur
slight taste of the "bundung", better known as the rose syrup, at the bottom of the drink.
There's also a cold version known as the Rose Juliet.
I personally think it's not bad, worth trying. However the taste of coffee can be improved, less rose syrup taste.

hehx...since kirei updated sth...i shall also contributed sth here =)
The mind cafe has 2 branches in S'pore; one at Prinsep Street, another at Boat Quay. Its a cafe that allows yout to play a variety of games while enjoying food.
My friends and i went to the prinsep street and here are some photos.
above photos are a board game we played, Sorry for the sweet revenge. it's similar to snake and ladder just that no dice is being used instead. cards replaced the purpose of dice and "traps". So basically it's half board game and card game. It's fun to play with a group of 4.
cappuccino with a cookie..the beverage gets cold easily and its not hot enough. the cookie taste doesn't appeal to me, not crispy enough.
ice mango with bits of mango flesh inside.
the taller glass is the mocha float and the hot chocolate on the right side. Hot chocolate not that nice, my friend commented. and on the basket is the black pepper potato chips, recommendation on the menu. Worth trying.
there's also the potato wedges which is also not bad.
chicken platter, quite a large portion for a girl.
ambience wised is not bad. The cafe is divided into two sides. one side has the sofas and only for reservations if i'm not wrong. the other side is tables and chairs. Service also not bad as the waiters and waitresses are friendly and some are equipped with the knowledge on the games.
the cafe also have packages like pax of 2/4 etc. with 2 hours of gaming, 1 snacker, 1 munchie and 1 choice of beverage each. at a price of 20 bucks for 2 persons and 36 bucks for 4.
However, i will recommend to get 2 packages for 2 instead as u will get extra snacker and munchie.
and addition of 2.50bucks will be changed for every additional hours on fridays and weekends, 2 bucks for monday-thursday.
how to go? for the prinsep street branch,
used the northeast mrt line and alight at dohby ghaut station and a 10 minute walk.
it's open from 2pm-3am for fri, sat and eve of public hols and 2pm-11pm for sun- thurs.

haa let me be the first to post some stuff for our blog ba.. gonna rust soon if there's no updates. ok my friend and I decided to head down to Melvados cafe for lunch, situated along Bukit Timah Road. Thought it's gonna be very crowded but to our surprise, we seems to be the first 2 customers of the day. After which, people started flowing in. The ambience of the cafe is quite good, with dim lightings and so makes the place very cosy. Here's how the cafe looks like..
And here comes the menu...
I ordered the organic apple juice and Vegetable Lasagne. Well, the apple juice really tastes "organic". Haa it isn't sweet, with a little soury taste but still acceptable and i love it =) As for the vegetable lasagne, at the first few try it was ok, with the tomato sauce and stuff. But after that, I got kinda sick with it, I think the vege was a little overcooked. hmm.. not very nice and so I only managed to eat half of it =x
My friend ordered the fizzy sunset tropics and Mushroom cream sauce spaghetti. Haa we both love the sunset tropics, especially the peach. Hee even the peaches were a little fizzy ^.^ But again, the spaghetti was a little disappointing. We both find it too creamy and should i say "milky" the first time I tried it, I'm like well am I eating spaghetti soaked with milk? He didnt quite like the taste also and in the end, he end up eating the mushrooms and ate abit of my Lasagne =P "cute"
There goes the wasted food heee...
Up next, we ordered the Sizzling Brownie Sensation (in house speciality) and Crumby apple slice for dessert. yeah!! The premium Brownie is served on a hotplate with one scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream.. OMG! this is seriously good!!!! you girls should try it, I'm sure u all will love it as much as I do. See hows the ice cream sizzles on the hotplate!? It's just heaven... haa. Furthermore, the brownie is superb, the sweetness is just right, which makes you want for more! The chocolate simply melts in the mouth. Due to the high temperature, the vanilla ice cream seems to melt in the next 2-3 minutes =( Also, i would recommend it for 2 persons, 1 simply cant finish it.
WA!!! Pure indulgence!
Followed by the Crumby apple slice!!! My favourite! The crust is soft and a little crispy, with a dash of frosting on top. The size of the apple cubes are just nice, neither too big nor small and again the sweetness is just right. With a few raisins to top it up =) This is also highly recommended..
Apart from the main course, we were quite satisfied with the desserts.. Happy day out!

Right, its me. Its Shi qin aka xi-gua mei aka crybaby aka illegal-ren-ming. Seriously, my name sound so negative. Crybaby and an illegal person.
Let me explain ok? Xi-gua mei because I love to eat watermelon, which is perfectly ok. Crybaby is an overstatement, i'm just emotional AT TIMES. As for the illegal-ren-ming, I gave tution, which is classified as an illegal activity of the underground economy in economics terms. So yes, I'm a good citizen, no doubt about that.
So much so for my introduction.
The cookies are so photogenic! I do hope they could taste as nice as they look though. hahaha
